Karnali. CPN (UML) Secretary and House of Representatives MP Yogesh Bhattarai has said that the ordinance presented by the government in the federal parliament will be passed. In an interview organized by Press Chautari Nepal Surkhet in Birendranagar today, he claimed that the ruling coalition has a majority in the federal parliament to pass the ordinance.
Secretary Bhattarai said that all ordinances related to land and social media will be passed. He said, “The National Assembly is a place for more mature people than the House of Representatives. We will pass the ordinance from there and we have the means to get it passed, although I do not want to say about it right now.”
Similarly, stating that the bill related to social media was brought by the previous government, he clarified that this bill was brought for regulation and not for control. He said, “The current government is working on the budget and plans brought by the previous government.” He said that emphasis has been placed on the Karnali and Bheri Corridor, Madan Bhandari and Mid-Hill Highways for the development of Karnali’s infrastructure. He said that the economy has improved in recent times.
