Kathmandu. The Armed Police Force Nepal has taken action against 120 people who worked against the organization’s instructions. Departmental action has been taken against 120 Armed Police personnel who uploaded pictures and videos of themselves wearing the organization’s uniform and engaging in various activities on social media.
The Armed Police Force has taken action against four police deputy inspectors, five assistant inspectors, six senior constables, three constables, nine assistant constables, 91 jawans and two attendants. They have been admonished, suspended from promotion, warned, cautioned, drawn to attention and verbally reprimanded, informed Armed Police Force spokesperson Kumar Neupane.
A social media monitoring branch has been established to regulate Armed Police personnel of any rank who act against the rules of the organization. The Armed Police Headquarters has also directed the subordinate offices to take departmental action against 28 Armed Police personnel who made and uploaded unlimited photos and videos on social media and to send the details as soon as possible.
