Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire has said that there is a problem due to the failure to issue primary shares. Stating that there is confusion in the decision made by the Public Accounts Committee, he also said that the committee will discuss it again.
He also said that development has been done by the private sector all over the world. ‘The private sector is the people. The Nepali Congress supports the promotion of the private sector, he said, but shares should not be issued with the intention of fraud, there should be regulation. He stressed that the concept of primary share issuance is good and that the general public can invest in it, but the practice of working with wrong intentions should end. He said, “IPOs should be issued. The general public invests,” he said, but the IPO should not be defamed by creating a place for fraud. This will not attract investment in the IPO.” He also stressed that Nepal should prioritize solar energy.
