Parbat. The world’s longest and tallest ‘Megatrol’ has come into operation at ‘The Cliff’ in Kushma. The Megatrol, which has become a major destination for adventure tourism, is 255 meters high and 1,228 meters long.
You can travel on the Megatrol from the tower in The Cliff complex in Balewa to the tower below Kushma Bazaar. It is said that up to three people can play on it at a time.
The Cliff’s chairman Raju Karki informed that the Megatrol can be played alone or in pairs. According to him, if the speed of the Megatrol is 140 kilometers per hour, it will take seven to 12 minutes at a time.
He said that its speed can also be increased. Karki said that 40 million rupees have been invested for the operation of the Megatrol. ‘Megatrol also falls under the category of adventure activities, it provides the experience of zipline and roller coaster,’ he said. ‘The Megatrol, whose construction began a year ago, has been operated commercially since Thursday.’
It was successfully tested two weeks ago. ‘The Cliff’ has also operated a pair of bungees on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. Chairman Karki said that while earlier only one person could bungee jump, it has been brought into operation so that two people can do it simultaneously.
While the world’s second highest bungee jump, swing, sky cycling, guley ping, sky cafe and other adventure tourism activities are being provided as well as the facilities of a well-equipped resort, now the mega troll has also been brought into operation regularly for tourists, he said.
‘You can experience the mega troll while watching the panoramic view of the Kaligandaki River. I am very happy to be able to provide additional facilities for tourists coming here,’ he said. ‘We expect this to play an additional role in economic and social development along with tourism.’
Chairman Karki said that the fee for mega trolling has been fixed at Rs 4,000 for one person and Rs 9,500 for three people. Along with this, structures including an adventure swimming bridge are also being constructed, Karki informed. The number of tourists visiting here has increased significantly after the Kaligandaki Corridor and Mid-Hill Highway were blacktopped.
