Kathmandu. The stock market has increased by a modest percentage on the fourth trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 1.86 points to close at 2685.73.
On Wednesday, 15.52 million 559 shares of 307 companies were bought and sold, resulting in a turnover of Rs 8.71 billion 7847 thousand 62. While the share prices of 134 companies increased on Wednesday, the share prices of 99 companies decreased while the share prices of 11 companies remained stable.
On Wednesday, NRN Infrastructure and Development and CEDB Hydropower were the most traded. The company’s turnover was 396 million 22 thousand rupees and CEDCO’s 376 million 715 thousand rupees.
Also, on Wednesday, the shares of 1 company experienced a positive circuit while the share prices of 2 companies experienced a negative circuit.
