Patients and relatives of patients will be able to avail the service in this bus, which has a capacity of thirty people. He said, ‘This facility was not available to patients and relatives of patients in hospitals in Nepal, this facility is being provided for the first time.’
The bus, which is currently in operation in the hospital’s nursing department, has been brought to operate as a shuttle bus. The bus will travel from Bharatpur Hospital to Malpot Chowk (Bypass Road), District Administration Office Chowk, Hakim Chowk, Chaubiskothi, Birendra Campus Chowk, Bishal Chowk and then back to Bharatpur Hospital via Bypass Road. According to Poudel, although there are buses to transport hospital staff, there are no buses to transport patients and relatives of patients.
Poudel said that the hospital has introduced shuttle buses to manage complaints that patients and their relatives coming to this hospital, which is treating patients from 19 districts including Chitwan, are not getting vehicles to reach the hospital on time.
