Kathmandu. IGI Prudential Insurance has called a general meeting to approve the dividend proposal. The company has called the meeting to approve a total cash dividend (including tax) of 9.7368 percent of the proposed paid-up capital of Rs 3.29 billion 334 thousand 639.20 for the last fiscal year 2080/81.
The company’s board of directors meeting held on Magh 29 has decided to hold the meeting on Falgun 25 at Amrapali Banquet in Bhatbhateni.
The company has stated that the meeting will pass a special resolution authorizing the board of directors to make any changes to the company’s articles of association and regulations if directed by the regulatory body to do so.
The meeting also approved the expenses incurred under the company’s corporate social responsibility. The meeting will approve the appointment of independent directors.
The company has stated that the meeting will approve the annual and auditor’s reports for the previous fiscal year and will also approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor for the current fiscal year and the determination of his remuneration.
The company has decided to close the books on Falgun 11 for the purpose of dividend and annual general meeting. The company has informed that only shareholders who are active in Nepse trading till Falgun 10 will be able to participate in the company’s general meeting.
