The Hydrology and Meteorology Division has stated that the country is currently under the partial influence of a western low-pressure system and the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces while the rest of the country is clear. There is fog in some parts of the central and eastern Terai of the country.
According to the division, the hilly parts of Koshi province will remain partly to generally cloudy in the afternoon. In addition, the hilly parts of Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces will remain partly cloudy and the rest of the country will remain clear. There is a possibility of light snowfall in one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
