Lumbini. Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya has inspected the under-construction building of Lumbini Provincial Hospital. Chief Minister Acharya inspected the building and took information about the progress of the work today.
‘This is a proud project of the province. The province has given it high priority, it will make a significant contribution to the development of the entire province, he said, “Let there be no problem in the work under any circumstances.”
The provincial government has allocated 1.8 billion rupees to construct the building in the current fiscal year. During the monitoring, Chief Minister Acharya said that the work was satisfactory. He informed that information has been received that up to 28 percent of the work will be completed in this fiscal year. The construction of the building was started at a cost of 6.18 billion rupees. The Provincial Infrastructure Development Authority had signed a contract agreement with Indian construction company Cap Site Ashish Religare Venture and Nepali company Ashish Religare on Poush 26 of last year.
The ‘Site In-Charge Engineer’ of the Provincial Infrastructure Development Authority said that 13 percent physical progress has been made in the five months since the construction began. Shankar Subedi informed. According to the agreement, the 12-storey building should be completed by the end of Poush 2085 BS.
