Kathmandu. The National Insurance Company has made public the unaudited financial statements for the second quarter of the current fiscal year.
The company has earned a profit of Rs 346.6 million up to the second quarter. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a profit of Rs 427.2 million.
The company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 972.2 million up to the second quarter. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned a total insurance premium of Rs 681.7 million.
The company has earned a net insurance premium of Rs 167.0 million up to the review period. The company had earned Rs 134.1 million in net insurance premiums during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
The company, which has a share capital of Rs 266.6 million, has retained earnings of Rs 2.44 billion 29 million and other equity of Rs 10.35 billion 23 million.
Similarly, the company’s earnings per share are Rs 130.02, net worth is Rs 6,322.83, and liquidity ratio is Rs 2.30.
