Janakpurdham. Madhesh Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has said that the salary and benefits of employees should be increased to control corruption. At a program organized here today on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Chief Minister Singh said that the concerned bodies should work hard to control corruption. He informed that everyone should play a role in controlling corruption along with integrity, impartiality and fearlessness.
Chief Minister Singh mentioned that corruption is rampant in every sector including education, health, industry, drinking water and since they are not registered and are evading revenue, those bodies should be brought under the tax net of the government.
Madhesh Province Speaker Ram Chandra Mandal said that corruption has increased in the country due to lax laws related to corruption control. He said that corruption will not be controlled unless the salaries of employees are increased according to inflation.
Dhanusha District Coordination Committee Chief Rajnandan Mandal said that there is a need for collective commitment to control corruption. Bardibas Chief of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Ram Bahadur Kuruwang informed that his office has significantly resolved cases related to financial irregularities in the context of controlling corruption.
