Kathmandu. Nepal Life Insurance has made public its fourth quarter financial results. In the last fiscal year 2080/081, Nepal Life Insurance earned a net profit of Rs 513.982 million.
The company had earned a profit of Rs 392.915 million in the previous fiscal year 2079/080. The company has earned a profit of 30.81 percent in the last fiscal year compared to the previous fiscal year.
The insurance premium of the said company in the last fiscal year 2080/081 was Rs 40 billion 112 million. The size of the company’s life insurance fund has reached Rs 198 billion 337.488 million. The company, which has a paid-up capital of Rs 8.2 billion, has a reserve fund of Rs 1.99 billion, while it was Rs 1.48 billion in the previous fiscal year.
The company’s income from investments and loans also increased last fiscal year. This also helped increase net profit. Last year, the company’s income from investments and loans was Rs 15.23 billion.
The company’s earnings per share are Rs 6.26 paisa, while its net worth per share is Rs 129.11 paisa.
