Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakash Man Singh has said that working people should not be compared with gossipers. Inaugurating the ward building of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-29, he objected to some saying that even promulgating the constitution is nothing.
‘They say that even promulgating the constitution is nothing. What can be done to achieve great things here? Comparing working people with those who gossip?’ He asked, ‘You and I need to understand the intentions of those who are making noise. It is necessary to take a cold-hearted look at those who serve by engaging in politics and those who are cheated.’
Deputy Prime Minister Singh said that the Congress-UML have come together for a stable government as per the wishes of the citizens, and work is being done accordingly and an ordinance has been brought to bring the economy back on track.
Similarly, he stressed that unused public land should be for the people and the locals should be able to use it, and said that the government is working for that.
Deputy Prime Minister Singh mentioned that a lot of work has been done on the infrastructure of roads and community schools in Kathmandu Constituency No. 1, which he represents. He expressed his commitment to now focus on the health sector.
