Jumla. The Infrastructure Development Office located here has constructed 11.3 kilometers of roads in the first six months of the current fiscal year.
Prabhakar Prasad Singh, acting chief of the said office, said that the construction is being done by giving priority to roads within the district. He said, ’18 road construction projects are underway in this fiscal year. An allocation of Rs 1.8 million to Rs 15 million has been made for these plans.’
Under the suspension bridge program, bridges will be constructed in the current fiscal year from the fiscal equalization budget of the provincial government at Gididaha in Tatopani Rural Municipality-4, Ranukhana in Sinja-2, Sheradah in Hima-1 and Rukheta Khola in Mahadev Secondary School.
He complained about the lack of funds to build bridges in Lamrochaur Gadapari and Masanghat Jimri Jiula. He also informed that the damaged suspension bridges in Tatopani, Sinja and Kanakasundari Rural Municipality will be repaired.
