Kathmandu. Shashila Motors Pvt. Ltd. has launched its new sales center in Birgunj. The new center located at Pratima Chowk was inaugurated by Madhesh Provincial Assembly Member and former Minister of State Rahbar Ansari.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Ansari stressed the need to promote the use of electric vehicles and emphasized the need to adopt a policy to increase domestic consumption of electricity. He said that the use of electric vehicles would reduce fuel imports and contribute significantly to reducing environmental pollution.
Santosh Khatiwada, Managing Director of Shashila Motors Pvt. Ltd., expressed his commitment to providing quality service at all times. He mentioned that the goal is not only to make sales, but also to make after-sales service easy and effective.
The company has informed that after the Birgunj branch and Simara workshop are operational, it plans to expand branches to Bardibas, Dang, Nepalgunj, and Butwal soon.
The program was attended by prominent figures including Tabrez Ahmed, Chairman of the Land Problem Resolution Committee Parsa, CPN-UML leader Salauddin Ahmed, Senior Vice President of Akorab Govinda Devkota. On the occasion of the inauguration, Shashila Motors handed over five electric microbuses to customers.
Earlier, the company had handed over 30 microvans to Multipurpose Yatayat Pvt. Ltd., located in Simara, Bara. Shashila Motors has been selling electric vehicles of various brands including Higer, Kiton, and Venchi.
