Kathmandu: Eleven people have been arrested from different parts of the country on charges of involvement in criminal activities. According to the Central Police Newsroom, they were arrested from Rautahat, Bardiya, Chitwan and Sarlahi.
Sagar Shrestha, 31, of Chandrapur Municipality-4 Chidiyadaha Tole, and four people from Bardiya Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-2 Futahashaghunghari were arrested with a substance that looked like brown heroin. An 18-year-old teenager was arrested with 450 grams of marijuana from Gumba Chowk, Kalika Municipality-6, Chitwan, and Samir Pariyar, 27, of the same place, were arrested with controlled drugs.
Similarly, four people were arrested with about 50 grams of marijuana, controlled drugs tramadol, prometh, bomin and cash worth Rs. 95,705 from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4 Langkulakshmi Path. People have been arrested.
Arrested with fake notes
Meanwhile, 27-year-old Mukesh Kumar Soni of Rajwada-9, Sitamarhi Puranda, India, has been arrested from Suknaha Bazaar, Ishwarpur Municipality-15, Sarlahi, with one piece of Indian currency worth five hundred and 29 pieces of fake notes worth one hundred.
