Kathmandu. MAW Vriddhi, the official distributor for Nepal, has unveiled the world’s first ‘transformer SUV’, the Deepal E07. Considered a ‘miracle’ of automobile technology, the Deepal E07 was jointly unveiled by MAW Vriddhi Chairman Bishnu Agarwal, Changan Auto Asia Pacific VP Guan Jin, Deepal EV’s brand ambassador in Nepal and Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Secretary Paras Khadka, and MAW Vriddhi Managing Director Vivek Sikaria.
The rise of a new SUV segment, the Deepal E07, has started a new chapter in the automobile world by providing a completely new driving experience through its transformative capability. .
This SUV transforms into a pickup truck at the push of a button. With four different uses including SUV, Pickup, Camping and RV (Recreational Vehicle), the E07 will establish itself as a ‘Futuristic Marvel’ through luxurious and intelligent adventure
Features and Specifications
The Deepal E07 will be available in ‘Rear-Wheel Drive’ and ‘All-Wheel Drive’. The ‘Rear-Wheel Drive’ variant uses a 190 kW motor that generates 258 PS of power and 365 Nm of torque. It uses an 89.9 kWh battery that will give a single charge range of 566 km. Similarly, the all-wheel drive variant generates 440 kW of power and 645 Nm of torque. This EV, which can be connected to a fast DC charge of up to 240 kWh, has the ability to recharge quickly for long journeys.
The E07’s ‘aerodynamics design’ has a ‘drag coefficient’ of 0.237 cd, which makes its journey comfortable. Similarly, its ‘water-wading’ capacity is 600 mm, which will make it travel smoothly on rough terrain.
A blend of style and utility
The 5-meter-long Deepal E07 has a wheelbase of 3120 mm, which makes it ‘spacious’ and makes the ‘cabin experience’ unmatched. It features ‘stylish star ring integrated headlights’, ‘sliding rear dome design’ and a large ‘multifunction roof rack’ that can lift a ‘load’ of up to 300 kg.
It also has 131 liters of front space, a 600 kg capacity boot and ‘under-seat storage’.
‘Intelligent’ technology for safe and smart travel
The ‘Super Brain Central Computing’ used in the Deepal E07 The platform provides seamless control and real-time response. It features a 28/86-inch augmented reality head-up display and a 15.4-inch sunflower touchscreen, which not only improves the driving experience but also makes it safer.
For smooth travel and safety, it features 5 types of cruise assist, 4 parking assist features, and 14 safety protection systems, including a 5mm web radar, 5 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars. In addition, it has a 540-degree ‘surround view’ and ‘C2 central computing’ that makes ‘navigation’ and parking easier.
‘Futuristic engineering’ and ‘eco-friendly design’
The ‘Golden Bell Jar CTV integrated battery’ has been used in the Deepal E07, which will provide unmatched ‘performance’ even in extremely cold conditions. The ‘adaptive oil cooling system’ and ‘ultra-thin silicon motor covering’ help in the ‘efficiency, reliability and energy saving’ of the battery. Its ‘Unique Super Power Saving Mode’ further increases the driving range.
The E07 takes Changan’s legacy to new heights

Speaking at the launch of the E7, MAW Vriddhi Chairman Bishnu Agrawal expressed his gratitude to all 750 customers for the success of the Deepal S07 and L07 in the Nepali EV market. He said that he was confident that the Deepal E07 would set new standards in the Nepali auto market as well as in the global auto market.
He informed that the MAW Group also attaches equal importance to after-sales service. He said, “MAW has done everything possible to ensure customer satisfaction. Currently, there are more than 90 MAW charging stations in the country, which is the largest network in Nepal.
Similarly, Changan Asia Pacific VP Guan Jin said that Changan and Deepal are performing very well in Nepal and Changan is committed to providing world-class products in Nepal.
Price
The Deepal E07 is available in four colors: white, black, gray and green. The starting price of the ‘rear-wheel drive’ E07, which was set at Rs 13.99 million, has been temporarily fixed at Rs 9.99 million, while the ‘all-wheel drive’ is priced at Rs 19.99 million. The ‘rear-wheel drive’ Deepal E07 is currently available for test drives and bookings at Changan showrooms, the company has informed.
