Kathmandu. The stock market has fallen by double digits on the second trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed at 2,633.32 points, down 10.61 points.
All sub-indices fell overnight on Monday. On Monday, 17.253 million 576 shares of 312 companies were traded, worth 8.924 billion 65 thousand rupees, compared to 9.12 billion rupees more than the previous day.
While the share prices of 105 companies increased on Monday, the share prices of 129 companies decreased while the share prices of 9 companies remained stable. Sindhu Bikas Bank had the highest turnover on Monday. The company collected more than 298.3 million rupees. The company’s shares have reached Rs 1,138.90 per share.
On Monday, the share prices of Nyadi Hydropower and Janaki Finance entered a positive circuit, while the share price of Saptakoshi Development Bank fell by 8.46 percent.
