Kathmandu. The award distribution program of the ‘Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank Bijchitra Photography Competition-Edition 2’ organized by Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank on the occasion of World Photography Day has been completed.
Award distribution program was held at Durbarmarg, Kathmandu to award the first, second, third place and public choice award winners. In the competition, Subash Shrestha came first, Shaurabh Bajracharya came second and Paras Raj Bajracharya came third.
The winners received cash prizes of Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively along with certificates. Ghanshyam Shrestha won the public choice award by receiving the highest number of votes in the public choice. He received Rs 5,000 along with a certificate. In addition, certificates were presented to the best 15 photographers on behalf of the bank at the award ceremony.
As per the rules, to participate in the said competition, various photos were received through various photographers.
All the photos included in the competition were excellent and were of a kind to provide a positive message through businesses operated at the local level. A 3-member judging committee selected 15 best photos for the competition.
The bank believes that such activities will help promote and publicize local businesses, entrepreneurship, and local arts. The bank has recently launched “Mahalakshmi Smart Sathi” by refining its mobile application in line with the bank’s policy of providing customers with state-of-the-art, secure, and easy digital banking facilities.
