Kathmandu. Mahanagar Yatayat Pvt. Ltd., which has been providing services on the Kathmandu Valley ring road, has added 40 new buses. This transport company, which has been providing services through large buses for the past 9 years, has added 40 new buses keeping in mind the service of passengers.
The company is going to bring 40 Tata Motors buses into operation from Thursday. The company has informed that along with the addition of 40 buses, it will also operate new routes.
Currently, this transport company has been providing services through 50 buses. The company’s chairman, Madhusudan Upadhyay Adhikari, informed that 40 buses with state-of-the-art facilities are going to provide service to the general public to reduce the suffering faced by the public in public transport.
Mahangaran Transport Pvt. Ltd. had started bus service on the Ring Road in 2072 to provide safe, enjoyable and entertaining travel to the passengers. Now the company has made plans to expand it. Initially, this company, which operated 40 buses with an investment of Rs 160 million, had later added 10 buses. Now, the company has stated that the total number of buses of the company will be 90.
The 40-seat capacity Mahanagara Transport is large and comfortable. The bus is also equipped with a GPS tracking system and a mobile app. Through this facility, arrangements have also been made to see where the bus is on the mobile.
