Finance Minister Barshaman Pun has made public the budget statement for the upcoming fiscal year 2081.82 in a joint meeting of the Federal Parliament. Minister Pun’s budget, which started with the achievements of the republic, has tried to focus on promoting local production. Minister Pun himself has made the budget statement in a briefing produced from Dhaka. The budget has announced that Janakpur will be made the center of marriage and Lumbini the center of birth.
The budget has also announced the creation of a start-up board and a one-year fund to encourage start-up entrepreneurs. ##
