Kathmandu. The IPO allotment of Guardian Microlife Insurance Limited has been completed today (Magh 6). The sales manager Kumari Capital has allotted the shares through a lottery.
A total of 1830,875 people had applied for the IPO, out of which 8,452 applications were cancelled. 1822,405 eligible applicants were included in the lottery and 184,500 people received shares at the rate of 10 units.
The company had made 184,450,000 shares public to the public from Poush 21 to 24. The Nepal Securities Board had earlier granted permission to the company to issue 2.25 million shares.
In the IPO, 225,000 shares were allocated to Nepalis working abroad with work permits, 112,500 shares to collective investment funds, and 67,500 shares to employees. The remaining 1.845 million shares were opened to the general public.
