Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has made public the financial statements for the second quarter of the current fiscal year. According to the statement made public by the bank, it has succeeded in earning a net profit of Rs 151.73 million by the end of March. The bank had earned a profit of Rs 1.90 billion 3.8 million more during the same period last fiscal year.
The bank’s net interest income as of the end of March is Rs 5.18 billion 6.9 million. As of the end of March, the bank’s distributable profit is Rs 2.65 billion, while the operating profit is Rs 341.9 million.
The bank’s paid-up capital is Rs 149.117 million 75 thousand, while the reserve fund is Rs 17.41 billion. The bank’s deposit collection has reached Rs 314.8 billion and loan investment has reached Rs 266.21 billion.
The bank’s earnings per share for the period up to mid-March were Rs 2.04, net worth per share was 198.92 percent and price-earnings ratio was 185.11 percent, while the company’s bad debt reached 1.47 percent during that period.
